BPW Lekki is committed to helping the SS2 and SS3 girls of Gbaja Girls School to transition smoothly from young secondary school girls to confident and skillful women, capable of contributing successfully to society. We strive to help the girls achieve success in their lives, whether they choose to further their education or proceed to start a vocation, by supporting and guiding them.

Our various activities with them help

• Encourage the girls to understand and honor their bodies through hygiene and health talks.
• Learn to respect themselves and develop confidence
• Learn about reproductive health issues, STDs and sexual abstinence
• Learn life skills, such as goal-setting, making good choices and avoiding peer pressure.
• Learn study skills and improving in school
• Learn income-earning skills eg gele tying, jewellery making, tie and dye
